There are not many certainties as to what the true point of origin of holdem poker. However, the data of the State of Texas legislative, one of the southern states of the United States, indicate that the game originated there, and in fact the name (Texas Hold’em) would indeed be a proof, but analysts this game really suspicious of that hypothesis.

The truth is that regardless of where and when it was originated, the most interesting thing about the holdem poker is precisely what came later, its expansion, its popularization and the overcrowding. And all this happened in the last decades of the twentieth century. However, from then until now, no holdem poker only increases their prestige and popularity. There are some really basic rules at an online poker table.
